About Coast Custom Contracting

A locally owned renovation company built around custom building, interior craftsmanship and dependable project coordination throughout Victoria and the Greater Victoria area.

Our Story

A Victoria company built on workmanship

Coast Custom Contracting is a locally owned and operated renovation company serving Victoria, British Columbia and the Greater Victoria area. Owned by Vinni Spadafora, the company was built around reliable service, practical solutions and a high standard of workmanship — the kind of care that shows in how a space looks, feels and lasts.

With more than 20 years of hands-on construction and renovation experience, Vinni and the team work closely with homeowners, property managers and commercial clients to understand their goals, guide them through the available options and complete each project with attention to detail. Whether the work is a custom home upgrade, an interior renovation or a smaller repair that requires professional attention, every job is approached with the same respect for the property.

Greater Victoria is a unique place to build and renovate. Heritage character homes in Victoria and Oak Bay sit alongside mid-century interiors in Saanich and newer construction in the West Shore. Coast Custom Contracting is set up for that mix: custom building work where a space needs to be reworked, and interior finishing that feels considered rather than rushed.

What We Specialize In

Custom building in Victoria, BC

Custom building in Victoria is rarely a one-size-fits-all process. Older homes may need structural and layout changes that respect original character. Newer properties may need better flow, storage or finishing. Coast Custom Contracting takes on custom building work that improves how a home actually functions — from framing and layout changes to cabinetry, doors, trim and complete interior upgrades.

That can mean opening a kitchen to the living area, adding custom millwork, rebuilding a bathroom around new fixtures, or coordinating the trades required to finish a renovation cleanly. Clients get one point of contact, clear communication and a finished result that feels complete.

Because we work across multiple areas of construction, we can plan custom building projects efficiently and manage the details that often slow a renovation down: sequencing, finishing, and coordinating licensed plumbing and electrical work where it is required.

Interior work throughout Greater Victoria

Interior renovation is the core of what we do. Coast Custom Contracting provides kitchen and bathroom renovations, interior improvements, custom carpentry, drywall, painting, repairs and property upgrades for homes and buildings across Greater Victoria — including Victoria, Saanich, Oak Bay, Esquimalt, View Royal, Langford and Colwood.

Interior work here has to account for coastal light, older floor plans, and the way people actually live in these neighbourhoods. We focus on workmanship and finishing: surfaces that are properly prepared, carpentry that lines up, and paint and trim that look settled rather than temporary. The aim is a space that feels custom to the home, not generic to a catalogue.

Property managers and commercial clients also come to us for rental turnovers, deficiency work, damage restoration and ongoing property improvements. The same standard applies: practical solutions, tidy sites and communication you can plan around.

How We Work

One team, clear communication, finished properly

Vinni built Coast Custom Contracting around a simple idea: clients in Victoria and Greater Victoria should not have to juggle a long list of trades to get a renovation done well. We take on the work we do in-house and coordinate licensed plumbing and electrical where a project requires it, so there is one reliable point of contact from start to finish.

That approach matters on custom building and interior projects, where the quality of the last 10 percent — the trim, the paint, the way a door sits, the way a kitchen is left at the end of the day — is what you live with. We plan the work, keep communication straightforward and treat the property with care.
